encourages its members to give back to the community.

in this joint Community Connection Event!

Coastal Cleanup Day
at Crown Memorial Beach
Alameda, California

Every year, on the third Saturday in September, people join together at sites all over California to take part in the State's largest volunteer event, California Coastal Cleanup Day.

 


Activity Details


The Silicon Valley Chapter is joining with the East Bay and Golden Gate Chapters of the Association of Legal Administrators to donate our time picking up trash and recyclables as part of this effort.

WHEN:  Saturday, September 16, 8:30 AM - NOON

WHERE: Crown Memorial State Beach (Site #22176), Alameda, CA

COST: none


RSVP: Use the REGISTER link below by September 11 to sign up

  • Bring your family, friends, and co-workers. There is NO limit to the number of people who can join in this effort.
  • We will have an ALA group registration based on the number of people who sign up for this event using our registration.
  • Or, you can sign up on your own with the East Bay Regional Park District. Be sure to select Crown Memorial State Beach (Site #22176).

Be Prepared


What to Wear

  • Closed-toed shoes
  • Sunscreen
  • A hat
  • An extra layer, like a sweater or jacket in case it is cold. Be prepared to be outside in potentially changing weather for at least half a day.

What to Bring

  • A bucket (1 to 5 gallon). No need to bring bags.
  • Gloves (reusable, like gardening gloves or leather work gloves)
  • Water (in a reusable bottle) and snacks
  • The District will provide snacks, water, and trash bags.
