Roundtable for Legal Management Professionals

Please join your ALA colleagues for a roundtable discussion on topics that are relevant to Silicon Valley Chapter members.

Suggested topics include:

• Mental wellness - What are firms doing to assist attorneys and staff with stress?
• Staffing - Where are you finding candidates?
• Remote access policy – Do you have a formal policy for attorneys, paralegals, and staff?
• Outsourcing – Which departments are outsourced?
• 2019 Holidays – Are floating holidays an option? Open July 5th?
• SB 954 (Mediation Confidentiality) - What has your firm done to comply with SB 954, effective January 1? Are you doing written disclosure/acknowledgement at the time of engagement, or are you waiting until mediation seems likely? How are you tracking compliance?
• Ethical Screens - Does your firm have a written policy regarding ethical screens? If so, are you willing to share? Has it been updated to comply with the New Rules of Professional Conduct?
