Building ResilienceImage for strength and resilience

It has been said that a certain amount of stress is incredibly motivating and helps get us off the couch and achieve our goals. But, we are living in a time of what is known as “chronic stress,” which can cause us to be less resilient, less tolerant, and let’s face it, much less patient with ourselves and others.

So, how can we manage the external stressors of today to keep ourselves as healthy and productive as possible?

In this session, we will explore the best actions we can take to more effectively handle ours and other’s stress.

I invite you to join me in measuring your current level of resilience to establish a baseline. Then I will show you a few simple exercises you can do anywhere, and just about any time, that are powerful antioxidants to stress.

The goal is for you to walk away from the session with new tools for building your resilience and the confidence to know that you can not only survive this incredible time but also move from survive to THRIVE.

Learning objectives:

  • What is good versus bad stress?
  • What does personality type have to do with stress, resilience, and coping skills?
  • What behaviors will help us cope and what behaviors are holding us back?
  • How can we change our behavior to get better results?
