ALA East Bay Chapter Presents:

Mental Health Conversation - Self Care is Essential

As legal industry leaders, your personal, work, and volunteer positions can make you feel overwhelmed, burnt out, and run down. Self-care is essential; unfortunately, we often fall to the bottom of the to-do list. One fact is actual, you cannot pour from an empty cup. The good news is, you don’t have to! Let us help shift the perspective of priority to your most significant asset, YOU!

In this session, we will take the risk out of the mental health conversation and share some science, tips, and resources so that you can be a mental health resource for yourself and others.

Objectives:

  • Creating a safe place for members
  • Develop an Outreach Network that includes members and business partners.
  • Education and Support within the ALA community
  • Fostering habits for Self-Care: You are worth it!
