COMMUNITY OUTREACH: Create Cards for Veterans

Please join us for a Member and Business Partner Mixer!

Tuesday, August 4, 2026, 4 PM - 6 PM

Along with a member mixer, we will partner with A Million Thanks to create handmade cards and write letters to our active-duty, reserve, and veteran service members.

This is an amazing way to express your support and thank our military and their families.

Drinks, snacks, and materials to make cards and letters will be provided. All we need is you!

Our goal is to make 40-50 cards/letters, so we need your help to meet our goal.

About the Charitable Organization

A Million Thanks Started with One Goal—and One 15-Year-Old

In 2004, a 15-year-old high school student from Orange County, California, set out to complete a community service project. Her idea was simple yet ambitious: collect and send one million letters of appreciation to U.S. service members deployed around the world.

The local project became a national cause just three weeks after its launch. Tens of thousands of letters poured in each week, written by individuals, churches, schools, businesses, and other organizations. 

The project would soon spark a nationwide movement known as A Million Thanks®.
