Real Estate Trivia and Miniature Golf

Have you been in Legal Administration a long time in Silicon Valley?  Are you just starting your career here?  Come test (and learn) your real estate trivia skills.  To make the event even more exciting, a round of competitive office miniature golf will be played, with extra points given for correct trivia answers.

Parking and other special instructions:  Traffic has been a challenge for everyone.  CBRE has offered the use of their new space with Wifi for the afternoon if anyone would prefer to leave early and work from their office.  Parking can be challenging in downtown Palo Alto at dinnertime, please allow enough time to find parking and arrive at 5:00.

About the speakers: 

George Fox is an Executive Vice President for CBRE’s Tenant Advisory Services Group in Silicon Valley. Based in Palo Alto, George and his partners focus on providing real estate advisory services to technology and law firms in the Bay Area and throughout the US, Europe and Asia. He joined CBRE, Inc. in 2013 and has more than 23 years of tenant representation experience, including six years as the director of tenant representation of Trammell Crow Co.’s Bay Area operations and 13 years as the leader of Studley’s Silicon Valley Office. 

George regularly advises technology companies and law firms on real estate matters in California and around the world.  As a leader in the firm’s Occupier Services practice, George only represents users of real estate. 

Ham Southworth regularly advises technology companies and law firms on real estate matters in California and around the world.  As a leader in the firm’s Occupier Services practice, Ham only represents users of real estate.

After graduating from Yale and the University of Virginia School of Law, Ham spent six years working as a corporate and real estate attorney at Pillsbury Winthrop LLP and Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison LLP.  He acted as outside real estate counsel for companies like Cisco Systems, Veritas Software and Solectron, helping his clients lease, purchase, finance, develop, restructure and dispose of millions of square feet of office and industrial space worldwide.  Ham’s practice group was widely regarded as the world leader in corporate off-balance sheet financing.
